You might ask, how can I give more? If you’re employed, there’s a chance that your company offers a match on funds you give to charitable organizations. They often limit they amount they will match, but this is extra contributions with no extra funds out of your pockets!
Often, at the end of the year, companies will remind you, but sometimes people don’t even realize the option is available. Just think, instead of giving $500, it could be doubled to $1000 with just a little more effort on your part!

If you don’t know if your company offers this already, check with your HR Specialist or in your Employee Handbook for “Matching Gifts” or “Workplace Giving”.
Some sites even offer a lookup, though it may be out of date or if your employee is small, they may not be registered. I tried a few of the lookups I found online and found them to be inconsistent, so it may be best to check with your employer directly!
